2 days till take off! Holy shitballs batman, its coming! BANG!! PLUNK!! KAPUT!!....Ok,,,well as you can see I want to beat myself up already-with beer that is and yummy La Paz food. It seems that in this world if you don't marry rich or get rich quick or live off your parents, you look forward to those one maybe two weeks of vacation that you plan like five years in advance. Well that is the case here. I haven't hit the lotto xcrossing ma fingersx and my parents haven't either, so this vacation is kind of like a lotto win. I take enough money to gorge like a bill gates! Here I present a picture of where I was at last time I was down there and I will be there again! This is where they have that rock that is famous in La Paz-I think that without the rock the tourists would go to Cabo...NAWW.....This place is heaven!
Ps: the rock is called " el hongo"- the mushroom....apparently it's really big on top and small on bottom from all the sea corrosion.... really cool....some stupid Mexicans tumbled it over a while back but it got put back and reinforced (Beer+Mexican=dumb).Sorry, pics from my camera and its a postcard,,,couldn't find something decent on the web:(

3 days till take off! Man I am getting so anxious! Well in order to be properly prepared you have to take the necessary equipment-bathing suit, sunblock, aloe, screwdriver and yes the most important 'the snorkel and fins.' In LP this is essential cause their is so much to see underwater! When you rent a boat to go out clam catching, you dive down with the clam catcher and the underwater is a world of its own. You feel a little mermaidish...

4 days till take off! Yeah.....Oh Yeasshh, Well It just occurred to me that when your down in La Paz MX., You have to definitely visit the family, why? Well Cause they cook like Gods!!! Literally! One of my aunties, last year, made this seafood soup....OMG, you had to lay on the couch for an hour just to digest the thing! It was so goooood! And it was not like those soups you get here in LA where after 4 or 5 spoonfuls and all the yummy meat is gone, nooooo this soup is like a full spoonful till the end!

5 days till take off! Yes, I will be dwindling away like a drying grape under the muggy humid sun of La Paz Mexico,,,,oh the pain. But I have implemented a plan to remain hydrated through out my trip with this neat contraption.Of course the cans will be replaced by Caguamas. For the layperson, think of 32 oz. Bottles full of Pacifico!!! Whoopee!...
I will also be gorging on clams called chocolatas. They are, as you can see, hard to catch but are goooood once you get a hold of them. Instructions: Squeeze some lime, salt and hot sauce on them, watch them squirm for mercy and shove in mouth. Man my mouth is watering now!! Me write more later about the expected adventures in L.P., MX!!

So yeah here I am again, I haven't written in a while cause, well, I need a JOB!!!!! And have been looking for one. I think that for the time being I'm headed to homedepot, cosco, fedex...damn I'm gonna go stand with my brothers out by UHAUL and get me some work! I didn't realize that this teaching thing was such a hassle-I mean in terms of getting hired. I have sent out sooooooo many resumes and not one call!!! Bastards! "They will rue the day!"

I'm actually in a good mood-believe it or not-I'm just a bitcher(likes to bitch-word is born)...whatever. I went out to day all daylooking for work, didn't come home till 8pm-I'm so proud. I got all these really good leads and man, if one don't hit, Amigos at the UHAUL and lumber sites, here I come! I don't mind doing a little labor, I know I could use the exercise. So that's that.

In other stories, this is my last week in LA, Next week I will be enjoying the sun and fun in LA PAZ, MX!!! Ohhh Yeaaahhh-"Keep them Coronas coming Lupita!"(lupita be the waitress)
I want to post pictures on mobilizes but there gonna charge me up da yingyang, so instead I will take pics and then upload them on the blog at night from a computer-if I make it in. I might be passed out next to a pile of coronas !...well, will see. But, you really dont drink coronas in LaPaz, you drink Pacificos!..but they dont have a website so coronas it is for the link. Anywhatever, I think I will write more later and post the countdown to La Paz...

Inspiration....where the hell can I get some?! Maybe if I find a J.O.B.! That is this weeks goal, and my thesis too. I have been putting of this thesis thingy for some time, but it's my fault.
I remember back in the bachelor days when papers where assigned, I had two whole weeks to turn them in. And what would I do?...Yes, 'burn the midnight oil'-as one of my professors would say. I was up all night writing the damn thing! Sometimes it was straight from the computer to class-oh how I miss that fun. Well, which brings me to my point; I Have 7 years to complete this thing!!! AAGGHHH!! It seems that the anticipation of a paper due, last minute thinking, just brings out the best literature in you-well at least in me. I remember getting my papers back and A's BABAY-and some B's I'm not that much of a geek. But it was fun showing it off to my classmates that have been proofreading and writing there papers since day one. They would get so pissed! This one guy had a hissy fit once-stormed out of class after getting back our papers. Silence came over him after he saw my paper with the big fat A-me of course boasting about how I wrote it the night before-and his big fat B+ (He had the teacher look at it like 3 times I think before even turning it in)...Oh well.

But yes, inspiration! I have just found some, it's cold, comes in a little aluminum can and goes "fizz." I'm gonna go now and drink I mean get some more inspiration!aaaahhhh.....

AAHHHUUAAA!!!...T.J. Was great! It always reminds me of Mexico City-how I miss that town. Well we didn't leave for T.J. until 8am Saturday-But we made good time 2.5 hrs. We took a stroll down "Revolucion" street and it has changed! The street is wider and looks a lot cleaner. You still see street peddlers and the tourists, of course, stick out like sore thumbs. You keep going down revolucion and you'll hit "Coahila." That's T.J.'s version of the redlight district. Apparently the transvestite are hotter than the regular girls...hmmm. Well after a couple of twists and turns we were on Agua Caliente street and that took us to our destination-a 5 year olds b-day. We ate cake, jumped in the jumper, ate more cake, ate mole, nopales, beans, rice, hit the pinata, ate ate ate. We did a lot of eating...

After that little shindig, we went over to one of my fathers relatives house and guess what we did...Yes, we ate some more! They were cooking some meat on the grill, but oh man!!! This was some of the tastiest meat I have ever tried. Not to mention the good tequila-"Azul"-and also all the yummy condiments-guacamole, beans, rice, some really hot sauce etc...So, we danced the night away and ate,,,a lot!
The next morning we got up and decided to go eat. How weird. We ended up at this place called "Godoys." WOW! Well, if you get a chance to go over the border this is da spot! I had a seafood cocktail brought in a coconut and it was packed with so much seafood that I had to take it to go!MMMMmmmmm good. This place had good food and good entertainment-although your ears felt ready to explode from the "tranka, tranka, tranka" of the band:but well worth it.
This was "stuff yourself silly weekend." Such a good time and good food and good people...I feel like a rollypolly. Time to go hit the bike or treadmill, hit something!
