Yeah well, here, I'm back. I haven't written all week cause nothing has inspired me. Right now life is like sitting water collecting mosquito larva with west Nile virus. But I feel the winds of change coming-OH wait, someone open a window. I have been putting off a lot of projects, maybe it's my slothfulness, my beer belly, my neighbor-labeled Mr.Roeper-who doesn't let me party at all hours of the night with out him coming to my door and saying "Hey, ya woke me up!"(he lives like two apartments down but I think he's just the neighborhood watch dog)...I think it's this damn weather! IT IS FREAKING HOT!!! This weather makes you want to do nothing but sit and be a vegetable with the fan at full blast aimed at your face. It also takes the hunger right out of you-well out of me forsure. I did bike it for about 2.5 hrs today, but I didn't make it to my destination spot, had to take the bus the rest of the way. I managed about 10 miles, total would of been like 20. Well, I'm sure I'll make that run but on a cooler day. Today I scorched my forehead off-thanks Aloe Vera.
This weekend looks pretty hopeful. Im off to Tijuana MX. I think the last time I was there was over 2 years ago...It'll be fun hanging out in third world country. The food is great if you know where to go and don't drink the water. The locals suggest to drink beer. It's the purest and cleanest source of hydration over the border. I hope to take some pictures and post them on MOBILIZE. But I gotta call my cell company, I don't want to pay a dollar a picture-rat cellphone bastards! I'm just right over the border but they-evilcellcompany-manages to still charge you more than a taco for a call or data transfer to the states... If I'm not able to post them this weekend I'll have to do it Sunday when I get back!

Well, this weekend was actually one of the most exciting ones this month. Me and my girl had an adventure at a Sushi place where the lights went out-we got free boooze out of that one. We then went to another Sushi place where we stuffed our faces and afterwards walked to the "Kings of Leon" concert at the Wiltern....how cool is that!!!? The only thing I was dissapointed about was that we weren't the first 200 people in, so we couldn't go to the pit. I have yet to make it to the pit at the Wiltern...my day will come. We also saw a fight outside after the concert, that was pretty niffty-it really lets you know how people really are. The guy wanting the fight wouldn't fight anyone except the bouncer, total looser-he got owned by this other guy(pictures on mobilize). By the end, the chubby guy looked lost and then just walked off into the night,,,I think he might have been chemically inbalanced cause all he kept saying was "HIT ME THEN! HIT ME! RIGHT HERE HIT ME!" When someone did finally hit him, he backed down...hmmmmm.....not really sure what he wanted to accomplish.

Mayor Ken Livingstone said the killing was a "human tragedy" that was a consequence of the attacks.

"The police acted to do what they believed necessary to protect the lives of the public," he said. "This tragedy has added another victim to the toll of deaths for which the terrorists bear responsibility."

Livingstone drew a hard line before the mistake became clear, declaring that anyone believed to be a suicide bomber faced a "shoot-to-kill policy." -AP PRESS

My Heart goes out to this Kid and his family...Let's hope nothing like this happens in the states...we would raise hell....."shoot to kill policy"-we are really heading in the wrong direction, these politicians need to be stopped.

Well, I'm back, I have been in and out of computer stores trying to figure out if any one can get this one file that I need to recuperate from my machine. It involves my thesis!...But from the looks of it, I think I have lost them all!!!AAGGHHH!!! Can I sue Microsoft? People sue all the time and for stupid reasons, well my reason is pretty valid.
Me on the phone with Bill Gates-"I have a file that pertains to my MA degree and your OS system sucks! I have lost it all and you continue to be a billionare!" lets hope he gets the message...
I think I'm buying a MAC. I really can't learn Linux that fast and I need something reliable. My friend has a MAC and I recently used it and it was great! I didn't get any pop up ads or windows upgrade adds... From my small experience with it, I can stamp it with a 'smoothnochunks' logo. I will try tomorrow at yet another computer store to see if they have any expertise to get back my files. And if they are as moronic as the last store I went to:
REFORMAT DISK+INSTALL WINXP+WINOFFICE+SELL ON EBAY=BUY A MAC W/ DA MONEY....
Some 'computer People,'(apparently also known as technicians) I have noticed, are like mechanics. You come into the store or shop, tell them your problem and then they hit you with, "Well, it looks like we need to do a full system diagnosis, that will be $150 just to find the problem."....After they have found nothing cause they really don't know what there doing...they give you, "Well, we can fix it, but I can't promise anything, it definitely won't be the same, that'll be $300 more dollars." Bastards!! Mechanic and "some" computer technicians-I highlight "some" because some actually know what there doing but they are hard to find, like money- should be burned at the stake. I was told so many things from so many people and also given so many estimates that ranged from $300-$1000....Who can you believe!!!!??? After going through this little ordeal, I'm backing up my files weekly, no, every other day, wait, once a day...no, once an hour! We'll see what happens tomorrow...Let's hope I don't run into Laurel and Hardy again.
Ps:Who am I psing to? This is pretty cool Run J.C.

I HATE COMPUTERS!!...I have lost all my files!!!...I think, well, my computer wouldn't boot up and I kept getting this message "Windows cannot start because their is a file missing or corrupt. system32/hal.dll Please re-install"...What da hell!! I went crazy trying to figure out how to re-install this one file, but no dice. So, I went to FRYS electronic and I think I should of just gone to the local burger joint for computer advice. I did what they told me to do and now all my files are gooooooone!!!! Bastards, I bought a recovery program, but not all my files are viewable. So I need to learn LINUX!! I heard from a computer geek that that os will not crash, stall or crap on itself...I have yet to find out. If any one can help with my little problem I would greatly appreciate it. Apparently when I reboot windows it gives me the option to run windows xp(the one I just installed) or windowsxp(the one that wont open because of the missing or corrupt file)...I hope my files are still, maybe in that other partition....Help!

Ok, Well the weekend is here and oh yeah...Partay!!!.....Today I took ma mama to this Brazilian joint called Zabumba for her birthday...we had planned on going to some other restaurants but this place has good food and live music, so off we went. ANNNNDDDD, to our disappointment, the management apparently got into a fight with the band and the band left! We were left there with an empty place and no music! Well it wasn't all bad, the food was still good, but we would of really liked to hear the live band-that was the main reason for the trip.... Afterwards we ended up at Zanzibar. It was suppose to be 'BossaNova' night but from the outside it sounded like house music. Apparently, bossanova is just the name of the promoters.....bummer-cant get decent Brazilian music in this town. But I did get to see a limo pull up to the corner of the place and watch this girl runout and aim straight into the trash can...I think I saw some 'creama de leche' come out of her-she was wasted. It was a bachelorette party and the bride to be was wearing her g-string on the outside of her pants....hmmm. We didn't go in cause the bastard at the door first wanted to charge, $15 to get in, then he said $10...and I said $5-it was like one hour and a half b/4 they would start kicking us out of the place....If it would have been an hour and 3/4, well, then I would of thought about it. So instead we drove down main street looking for this college hangout called the 'Oar House'-never found it. Finally we ended up at this restaurant near the bike trail and paid ridiculous amounts of money for Coronas...Should of bought beer at 7/11 and walked to the shore...oh well. For being such a "nothing goes how you want it to go night", it was actually pretty fun. It's always fun to hang out with my parents......as wierd as it may sound to some people.

Well-Today....hmmm.....I think I need to maybe find a J.O.B.! Well I have a bunch of errands to run and applications to pick up, copies to make, blah blah blah,,, I'm wating on an application that should be coming in the mail tomorrow and "hope hope wish wish" that this is the job for me. I'm looking so hard but it seems that when your fresh out of school people dont really want you unless you have some kind of experience in the field that you are studying. That doesn't make any sense! I graduated so that I can get a job but they dont want me cause they want EXPERIENCE!!!!.... I have to like do volunteer work or something to the matter for experience cause no one will hire you!I could always travel to the other side of the world(Korea, China etc..), but I dont want that. I should of done this program when I wasn't attached, It would of been alot easier to take off, who knew. But, I'm still crossing my fingers and my eyes too for that matter to land that dream job!

Today-JOBJOBJOB!!! Well I am cheery today cause I actually did find some job sources. I called some offices at an Adult school center and there sending me info and applications. The lady was actually very nice, and she gave me some hope. She told me that they were hiring almost every week and that their is a constant need for people... So lets cross my fingers-all twenty of them-do not let black cats cross my path, do not walk under any ladders, don't break any mirrors, rub some rabbits feet-I might go to a taxidermy store to rub, and light some veladoras!!, By the way I'm not superstitious-oh and don't drop the salt...Umm, well, maybe a little.
But this is just my way of looking at things positively; chances are they will end on a positive note if you think positive. Right? OFCOURSE I'M RIGHT!!! This one Girl told me that I was so negative, but she failed to distinguish between negative behavior and someone who had just lost their job, car and home...It was down time during that period of my life, but it happens to all of us. It can be in Love, family, the job, whatever...You just have to learn how to pick yourself back up and keep going. The girl just happen to catch me at the bottom of my rollercoaster ride, but it looks like the operator is cranking the machine back on and I'm on my way to the loop-di-loop part of my ride!! yahooo!....I think I'll g oto magic mountain this summer....Any one up for some rollercoaster rides?....

Today-look for work...Nah! Today I'm off to speedzone ! Oh Yeah!!! I had promised my little bro to take him last week for his b-day, but none of his friends were around. So yesterday, he specifically reminded me of my promise to take him today-this guy doesn't forget anything, except to take out the trash and clean his room. Well that place is always fun, most adults would shy away at getting in a go-kart. "Grow up, get a job"-is what I would probably hear from behind the wheel of my 10mph go-kart as I zoooom by. But, I'm a kid at heart. And with a twelve year old brother, even more reason to drop in to that 6 foot half pipe. Maybe I should implement the formula :
KID AT HEART + JOB = KID W/ LOTS OF TOYS.
Yeah, I need to put that into action cause my garage is lacking an ATV, SeeDoo, 4x4 monster truck, parachute, bungee gear, snowboard, surfboard, Harley(big bob please) etc...........................Man!, I'm missing out! I'll look for a job tomorrow-just got really inspired!

Today, Look for work!,,, Well I had a pretty good weekend. The luau party was a blast-never knew how good MargaritaMix on tostadas tasted. Afterwards we went to this taco truck to have some of the best fish tacos around-any one interested on the location of the place?Let me know-I think you need to bring your own gang though...or a stick. Sunday I was recovering from the night before and ended up at this decent Korean food place on Vermont for soup and rice to settle the stomach and head (see pic on mobilize). And as usual, insomnia... I've been reading, watching tv, writing...well now I'm here surfing the web. I found a nice video that people might like Born to be Alive. It inspired me, im thinking of some dancing next weekend, any takers? I go and dance to everything, get a little spirits in me and i start breakdancing! You gotta have dancing in your life-I think. If not, well you end up a little to wound up for my taste. Trust me, I have a friend that doesn't dance and he's cool and all, but sometimes he's to robotic in his ways. It's like he's lost his dancing mojo. Everyone needs to let out and feel the soul that music brings out... Dont you think?

Today- going to a luau B-day party, Polynesian dancers, some tiki-wiki-miki-niki drinks, alka-seltzers,maybe some flame throwing-do Hawaiians do that?, how about coconut throwing or juggling. Well I'll send some pictures from my phone to mobilize, hopefully there won't be any of me on the floor because of to many tiki-niki-freaky drinks. Had a dream with crows, "gwua, gwua,gwua"-birdnoise.
